okay well, blogger seems to be working again. last night - i typed up this huge update but when i clicked on post and publish, it all vanished in midair. of course, i didn't save a copy of it first (not like i should have learned from last time or anything). in any case - i will have to re-write it all soon. sorry for the delay. but this week is gonna be hell. i leave for milwaukee on saturday and i've got a lot of loose ends to tie up...

and i think i'm coming down with a cold.
